*URGENTLY HIRING EFFECTIVE 4/27/23*

B1:
1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
2nd Shift : 3:00PM -11:30 PM

B2: (Mon-Thur ~ 4/10 hour days)
Dayshift: 7:00am - 5:30pm

Essential Job Duties:
•Operate an injection molding machine(s)
•Ensure operator work station at press is properly set up
•Visually inspect one shot prior to adding product to finished goods box
•Package product using care to prevent contamination and/or damage
•Label packaging in accordance with packaging instructions
•Count, record and report production scrap as well as good parts produced on the “Operator Production Data” sheet throughout the shift and on Part board at the press
•Communicate all quality issues or concerns to Shift Supervisor and Quality Assurance personnel
•Inform Shift Supervisor of poor-quality yield (high rejects), low production rates, or part containment issues
•Assist or replace other team members as needed to ensure production schedule is maintained
•Perform other tasks per Shift Supervisor and/or management
•Clean production area and assist in general housekeeping during the shift and at shift exchange handoff
•Review stated quality requirements in the Blue Book Manual on a daily basis. Operator Instructions, Quality Alerts, Packaging Instructions, Quality Inspection Instructions must be read line by line to ensure thorough understanding of procedures as well as part defect history.

Required Skills:
•No experience required, entry level positions available. Training is done on location after hire.
•Ability to read, understand and perform written instructions and memo.
•Basic math skills
•Use of basic measuring equipment
•Basic computer knowledge preferred, but training is provided

Physical Requirements:
•Stand 8-10 hours per day,
•May be required to push, pull, or lift 30 lbs
•Requires good visual, detail-oriented skills, manual dexterity and ability differentiate between colors

Essential Job Duties:
• Review stated quality requirements in the Blue Book Manual on a daily basis. Operator Instructions, Quality Alerts, Packaging Instructions, Quality Inspection Instructions must be read line by line to ensure thorough understanding of procedures as well as part defect history.
• Operate an injection molding machine(s)

• Verify that the scale is properly set for the part produced detailed in the packing Conduct visual inspection to finished product and has the ability to detect defective parts
• Visually inspect one shot prior to adding product to finished goods box
• Package product using care to prevent contamination and/or damage
• Label packaging in accordance with packaging instructions
• Count, record and report production scrap as well as good parts produced on the “Operator Production Data” sheet throughout the shift and on Part board at the press
• Maintain press collection bins throughout shift to ensure acceptable inspection levels
• Maintain consistent machine cycle to ensure quality and productivity on operator jobs
• Communicate all quality issues or concerns to Shift Supervisor and Quality Assurance personnel
• Inform Shift Supervisor of poor-quality yield (high rejects), low production rates, or part containment issues
• Clean production area and assist in general housekeeping during the shift and at shift exchange handoff
• Ensure the floor and work areas are clean and left acceptable for next shift
• Follow company safety policies and special equipment safety practices as needed
• Assist or replace other team members as needed to ensure production schedule is maintained

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Material Handler/Fork Lift Operator for 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping all production equipment with materials. You will be responsible for retrieving material within the plant to support manufacturing. You will be responsible mixing material and colorants and ensure the hoppers are properly filled. Also, assure FIFO and material identification are maintained. Organizational skills, Forklift experience and excellent attendance record is critical. The Material Handler will also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant to support manufacturing
Communicates and coordinates manufacturing requirements with other shifts.
Communicates with Shift Supervisor pending mold and color changes during their shift.
Provide assistance to other Manufacturing Floor Associates as required.
Record start time and finish run time on Work Orders.
Maintain material levels in supply hoppers, shot hoppers, and dye loaders in accordance with manufacturing requirements.
Complete color and resin changes as required.
Empty grinder drawers on a regular basis, and clean grinders as required.Maintain regrind ratio standards. When dumping regrind into material ga***rd or container, mix materials to ensure proper mix of virgin vs. regrind.
Check the amount of material in the hoppers and ensure that they are filling properly
Check the amount of material in the ga***rds and add more material when necessary
Operates material mixers to combine materials and colorant, according to formula
Pre-dry material as needed & schedules material drying times and operates material dryers
Ensure that the dryer is on and if it is not, contact a Supervisor
Ensure that the vacuum system is effectively loading the material into the hoppers
At job changes, ensure that all grinding from previous job is done, clean grinder, hopper and dryer filters, set-up auxiliary equipment and blow off material from press.
Maintain housekeeping standards in your area in accordance with housekeeping guidelines.
Assist the Shift Supervisor, Quality Inspectors, Operators and Die Setters when necessary.
Education/Qualification:
High School or equivalent
Minimum 3 year previous experience in manufacturing and plastic preferred
Minimum 3 year experience driving hilo
Basic math skills: add, subtract and divide and all unites of measure using whole numbers and decimals
Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions, documents and correspondence via multiple mode of communication (oral, written, etc)
Excellent attendance record is critical

As a Plastic Injection Molding Supervisor, you will be responsible for exercising leadership, managing production responsibilities in accordance with customer requirements, provide directions to production employees while meeting safety requirements and adhering to all quality procedures (IATF). The Supervisor is also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
Communicates with Manufacturing manager for processing issues and concerns
Convey all information required to oncoming supervisor to assure he/she has all the information necessary to run a smooth production shift
Participated and contributed to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Verifies and perform process verification sheets
Responds to all process deviation sheets
Document any and all process changes per internal procedures
Directly responsible to monitor and maintain process in accordance with master set up sheet in the Job book
Follow all departmental operational procedures relating to the set-up, operation, and shut down of jobs
Trouble shoots process issues and receives approval to change the process if necessary
Responsible for keeping any equipment in good working order – this involves regular inspection, cleaning, servicing and maintenance
Document any noted clear or malfunction of equipment to ensure proper repair to equipment is completed on timely manner
Set tools if needed per schedule
Responsible for all documentation pertaining to the overall operation of their shift.
Maintain cleanliness and general appearance or the production floor
Trouble shooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Reports and/ or repairs tooling issues if capable to manufacturing manager
Instruct all employees as to overall functions of equipment being used and be confident that all involving personnel have necessary knowledge to operate all machinery in a safe productive manner.

Experience, Education:

• Prior Supervisor experience in Plastic Injection Molding REQUIRED!
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to appreciate proper safety techniques
Desired Experience
• RJG Training formally certified or demonstrated abilities in use of e-Dart system.**
• Certified Master Molder training received.
