As a professional yes Sometimes in a project things just go a little wrong. Friday we were doing a small excavation project and we knew there was a private gas line in the yard. The customer thought they knew the path for the gas line. Oh yes our memory fades and sometimes the area looks different. 

Unfortunately the 1.25 inch low pressure gas line was struck, Gas irritated ,our quick thinking staff shut off the gas, without endangering anyone’s life or safety. We did not interrupt the gas service to any adjoining homes or the neighborhood. 811 had been properly notified before this excavation , but they do not mark customers lines in the customers yard. We were able to make a proper repair and restore the gas service to the customers outdoor gas units

Called out on Easter to unstop main sewer line. Yes found flushable wipes had clogged the sewer. I had previously warned people about putting flushable wipes down the toilet. They will stop up the sewer lines and they do clog up our sewer treatment plant or your septic tank. Please refrain from putting wipes down the toilet, they should not be flushed.

And the rains came. Looks like the rain will be with us for awhile. Check those sump pumps. They will be working overtime for several days to come. Give us a call if you experience a failure with your sump pump.

Keep that water dripping! Remember to keep faucets dripping in areas that tend to freeze. If you have cabinets on the outside wall on the north side of your house, leave the cabinet doors open to let extra heat surround your pipes. You may be concerned about the cost of the water after leaving it dripping. It is much less expensive than the plumbing repair bill if the pipes freeze and burst! Plus, you avoid the mess!
