We’re thrilled to announce that Kevin Lott has joined John J. Brennan Construction as our Director of Business Development!

Kevin brings decades of experience in the utility and construction sectors, including leadership roles at David Tinker Excavating and Aquarion Water Company. His expertise in strategic growth, operations, and client engagement makes him a perfect fit for our mission of delivering excellence on every project.

When he’s not driving business forward, Kevin enjoys life on his mini farm in Brookfield, playing music in his band, and cheering on Penn State football in the fall.

🥂🎉Congratulations to Brent Moyer on his well-deserved retirement!

Since joining John J Brennan Construction in 1999, Brent has been an invaluable part of our team. Starting as a field foreman, he showcased his expertise on a variety of state and municipal projects, from state park rehabilitations to road reconstructions.

As a project engineer, Brent played a pivotal role in our large-scale underground 345kv electrical transmission line projects and has contributed significantly to numerous DOT and site development projects. His dedication led to successful ventures like road reconstruction, building underpinning, and installations alongside the Metro North Rail line.

Brent’s leadership in managing our project completion procedures and implementing our drone video program has been transformative. His generosity and mentorship of both construction and safety continue to positively influence the success of our team, and his commitment to his role as Safety Manager sets a high standard.

🥲We’ll miss you, Brent! Thank you for your remarkable contributions and the legacy of Integrity, Pride and Versatility you leave behind. Enjoy your retirement – you’ve earned it!

For us, every project is a chance to raise the bar, fueled by fresh ideas, the latest technology, and ongoing training. Our “zero-incident” mindset is lived daily by our crew, turning best practices into habits that ensure the well-being of our people and the success of every build.

Progress and safety? They go hand-in-hand at Brennan. Check out this example of a complex water main project we recently completed for the Regional Water Authority in New Haven. Our crew used their many years of experience and teamwork to safely complete a difficult project. The depth of the excavation coupled with the adjacent utilities that needed to be supported made this a complex job. Our crew flawlessly completed the scope of work ensuring safety and quality were paramount! A big thanks to everyone who makes safety #1 – Especially the members of our JJB Team.

We’re excited to welcome Riley Scott, Assistant Estimator and Project Engineer, to the John J. Brennan Construction family!

Riley brings an impressive blend of design experience and technical know-how to our team. His background includes contributions to high-profile infrastructure projects across the country—from detailed bridge design to work on NASA’s Artemis 2 launch tower.

He’s also a certified drone operator, enhancing our ability to gather accurate aerial project data and documentation. Whether in the office or out in the field, Riley’s precision and passion make him a powerful addition to our crew.

An Eagle Scout, fine woodworker, and outdoor enthusiast, Riley lives in Milford, CT with his wife and two daughters. He'll be joining our estimating department, building on a strong foundation of organization and communication from his early career in office settings. Now, he’s diving deeper into the hands-on construction process—a challenge he’s excited to embrace with Integrity, Pride, & Versatility.

Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪 We had an amazing time celebrating our incredible crew at the John J. Brennan Construction Spring 2025 Team Kickoff Party! It was a fantastic day of connection, good vibes, and getting geared up for an exciting season ahead. We're so proud of the dedication and hard work our team brings to every project.

A big thanks to 🍕.apizza for bringing the legendary New Haven pizza perfection, and 🌮 Chef Tony Delicias for serving up delicious tacos that were a massive hit!
