We had a carpentry class from Bullards-Haven Technical High School tour the factory today! They just finished learning about stairs, so their teacher thought it would be interesting for them to see how we build stairs every day. It was a great tour led by our long time Project Manager, David!

Sadly, we lost a part of NESCO last week. Larry was a fixture here after 41 years. He started as a truck driver in 1981 and has been a rail fabricator for decades. We are devastated by his loss. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of one of our own. George was a Site Labor Craftsman at NESCO for 22 years. His smile was infectious and his quick sense of humor brought levity to the stressful days. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP George

"I see my husband has already left a review here but given my involvement in this project I feel compelled to add to his thoughts.

The New England Stair Company is outstanding in every aspect because the people who work there are nothing short of exceptional.

We spent one full year looking for someone skilled enough to retrofit balusters and handrails (to code) on an existing 80 year old stairway. No one we consulted was competent to do the job. Finally, at the recommendation of a very fine builder in Darien we consulted with Patrick at New England Stair Co. and the rest was cake.

From Patrick, and Rob, to everyone else at NESC the people who work for this company have set a high standard for themselves and it shows. Their knowledge & design work, milling and manufacture are all excellent, but of equal importance to us was their timeliness, professionalism and generosity of spirit because we needed this job completed quickly and it was all up to them.
I can honestly say they did not disappoint us - they were exemplary in every regard.

You will not find a more talented, thoughtful, pleasant or accommodating group of people to work with anywhere. On a scale of one through ten, they're a twenty-five and I give them my highest recommendation."

"Very happy with our recent experience! Needed to replace custom balusters by matching existing wooden ones that are apparently very difficult to find. NESC was quickly able to find the match when 2 other companies indicated it wouldn't be possible (and suggested they would need to be custom made). We were working with a very tight timeline and NESC was responsive, fast and the balusters look great in the end. Couldn't be happier!"

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! Every year we celebrate the 4th of July, but we’re normally inside our warehouse. This year we moved it outside so we could have fresh air and social distance, and we had a great time! This is how our new tradition of a 4th of July Cookout was born! 🇺🇸 🍔 🌭 🥗 🥤 🍺 🇺🇸

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to Shelton’s Volunteer Fire Departments, Shelton Police, and the surrounding towns’ emergency personnel for doing a great job containing and putting out the fire on Canal Street last night! They monitored our building throughout watching for burning debris that was continually sparking sawdust around our sawdust dumpster. We appreciate all their hard work!!

It’s been a tough couple of months, but we are finding our new normal! We’ve added glass partitions in our sales office, we’ve added santizing stations at the front door and throughout our factory, we’re limiting entry to our facility, we’re encouraging payments over the phone, we’re wearing masks, and we’re social distancing as much as possible. It looks different than it used to, but we’ve got the same dedicated team working safely to service our customers. We hope everyone is staying safe!
