Most people pick an automated gate based on how it looks. But that's only part of the story.

A great-looking gate is important—but what's happening behind the scenes is what determines how well it performs for years to come.

Here's something many property owners don't realize: not every automated gate operates the same way.

Take cantilever sliding gates, for example. Unlike traditional sliding gates, they don't rely on a ground track. Instead, the gate is supported by a cantilever system that allows it to glide above the driveway.
