But one of the first things a contractor should consider is how the land naturally slopes and where rainwater will go.

Sometimes that means adjusting the building location, driveway elevation, or the way the surrounding ground is graded.

What started as a backyard construction project has turned into a beautiful covered outdoor living space!

From framing the new deck and building the roof structure to installing the railings and finishing touches, we love seeing a project come together like this.

With a beautiful wood ceiling, ceiling fans, and plenty of room to relax and entertain, this deck is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

And one thing the homeowner was especially looking forward to? Kicking back, watching the ball games, and cheering on the Wildcats from his new covered deck!
