Testing in the shop before it hits the field.

Excited to explore innovative techniques like this—comparing traditional two-person block lifting with the use of the mule. Same task, two very different approaches.

As an exterior cladding subcontractor, we’re always looking for ways to evolve how we build, and technology like this plays a role in supporting what we already do well—not replacing the craftsmanship behind it.

With the mule, one person can safely handle the lift with better control and less strain, creating a simple shift that reduces risk while keeping our crews working smarter, not harder.

Progress update after 2 years of bidding and delegated design with Construction and Architects on Boulder Western. Kicking off the first system — moving through anchors, insulation, and into natural Colorado sandstone veneer installation — building it out one course at a time while keeping everything aligned as the wall comes together. All the components working together that make DM the most sought-after contractor.
This phase is where coordination and attention to detail matter most. It’s what sets up the finished product to look clean and perform the way it should.

Looking forward to sharing more soon, including a behind-the-scenes look at where this material starts its journey at the Lyons quarry.
