Upon arrival, performed a full inspection of the dryer vent system and found the vent heavily restricted with lint buildup. During the cleaning process, it became apparent that the blockage was more severe than a typical dryer vent cleaning. Accessed the vent from the exterior termination point and continued cleaning from that direction.

During the cleaning, a significant amount of wet lint and standing water was removed from the vent line. The excessive moisture and debris created challenging conditions, including a brush and rod assembly becoming disconnected inside the vent. The equipment was successfully retrieved, and the cleaning process was completed.

After extensive cleaning and removal of all lint and moisture-related obstructions, the dryer vent was restored to proper operating condition. The vent line is now clean, allowing for improved airflow, increased dryer efficiency, reduced drying times, and enhanced safety.

A family friend contacted us today regarding an air conditioning system that was not operating properly. They had previously been advised by another company that the TXV needed to be replaced at a cost of over $1,200.

After performing our own inspection, we found that the TXV was functioning properly and was not the cause of the issue. Instead, the evaporator coil was extremely dirty, which was restricting airflow and causing the system to freeze up. Even if the TXV had been replaced, the unit would have continued experiencing the same freezing issue until the evaporator coil was properly cleaned.
