Between spring weather and the end of the semester, it’s getting warmer and warmer☀️. Which sounds like a great time to come make some homemade ice cream with Chem Club to cool off 🍦 on Monday April 20th at 7pm in FSC 356 where we will also be hosting the 2026-2027 E-Board Elections so be sure to come out and vote or nominate your friend (if they want to run). Come join us for a pizza 🍕lunch with Brandon Brookens at 12:15 this friday April 10th!!! Hang out and chat before his seminar at 2pm to hear more about his career in the FDA. Last night the Nancy Grayson Elementary School welcomed the Chemistry Club to their Science Night!! We had so much fun showing the kids two super cool experiments: Elephants Toothpaste 🐘and Colors on the Moove 🐮.

Special thanks to our student volunteers, Dr. Dan and Dr. A, as well as the Nancy Grayson PTO for letting us make this a memorable night for the kids.

Help us celebrate Women’s History Month by purchasing one (or more) of Chem Clubs Women In STEM T-Shirt👚 Order one for yourself or a woman in your life to show your support for women in the sciences! Orders and full payment are due March 31st either by Venmo or cash to a Chem Club Officer or Dr. Dan in the Chemistry Department. Last night the Chemistry Club and the Shippensburg Area Intermediate School hosted Science Night! We had so much fun showing everyone how cool chemistry and science can be. We hope everyone who came had an amazing time and learned something new 🧪

🚨🚨NEW CHEM CLUB EVENT🚨🚨

We are hosting an information/work session Monday (2/2) in FSC-356 (Franklin top floor lecture hall) for applications to science-based research programs, internships, and graduate school!!

The first portion will feature student speakers providing information/advice, followed by a collective, focused work period (featuring immersive, challenging jazz) where students can get their materials reviewed, ask questions, discuss applications, and get to work on applications!! There might even be snacks…

We welcome ALL YEARS and ALL MAJORS!! Whether you are just interested in learning about opportunities available or are ready to submit applications, you are welcome to come‼️
