🟥 PA electricity prices are climbing once again on June 1st. Do you keep paying it or look at the alternatives?

Solar doesn't have to be the answer, you can always try and figure out how to use less electricity or try a supplier agreement.

Pennsylvanians have found that switching to solar is the best option because you can keep your usage the same AND we can give you more power for a lower cost than what your utility charges AND 3rd party suppliers.

All with $0 upfront, no cash or downpayment, just billed monthly (subscription style, exactly like you pay now) for the electricity the system generates.

Ignorants will argue that their bill is lower this time of year. Of course it will be, as your bill is the product of usage times a rate. Just because your electric bill was "lower" does not mean the price of that electricity is "lower". Pricing has climbing continously for the passed several years and is now accelerating due to AI and grid improvements. You will see higher summer electric bills this summer than you have ever seen before.

You can't control the price you pay 💯 This is the only way to take control.

With data centers across the country projected to double electricity demand by 2050, homeowners are finding out the true cost of them with their electricity bills.

Electricity is a need. It is not something we _choose_ to buy. And right now, we leave it to big tech to require massive amounts of electricity. This requires new generation and grid infrastructure upgrades, which is a financial burden placed on all ratepayers in the region.

How are people not furious!! 162% increase in Penelec's generation cost since 2021 😲 Even if you "shop" for your energy, in 6 months when you shop again all prices go up!

High electricity demand and choked supply is here to stay, resulting in higher wholesale auction prices. Translation? Rate increases, dude...Rate increases.

I love seeing these texts! 💯

Solar gets turned on, cheaper energy cost from solar starts rolling in, and customers see their electric bill credits accumulate with their utility- virtually eliminating it and carrying credits to future months 💪

The "I don't want to add another payment, I've got to many other bills to pay right now" is a total myth. Use the money you're already spending to go solar!

SERIOUSLY?!

Why do people somehow have a biased opinion that solar isn't worth it?? Stop being so ignorant!

This is a pic of Met-Ed. Its newest generation rate was announced for June 2026- 0.139/kwh. Ridiculous!

Just 5 years ago, it was as low as 0.054/kwh. (see graph)

Rate of change math:

(New-Original)/Original x 100 = RoC
139-.054= .085
085/.054=1.57

1.57 x 100 = 157%.

ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN PERCENT. IN FIVE YEARS.

"Yea, I think rates are coming down." 🤡

With solar, you can literally lock in a cheaper, fixed rate of energy from your solar company without spending ANY EXTRA MONEY. All while you get to put your monthly energy costs (that, may I remind you, is cheaper and fixed) towards an asset for your home. It's like buying a gas station with the money you spend at the pump.

Literally, cheaper rates from solar energy whether you consume it or export it to the grid and get bill credits. It's that simple.

Keep in mind that this is not your total cost per kwh. You also owe Met-Ed delivery fees on top of this that have also increased since Covid. Delightful!

I'm sure the EDC's in PA will follow. Met-Ed is always the first to release new price hikes. But hey, at least they give you a lengthy heads up before they bend you over! 😆
