NECA is seeking a Quality Control Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Manager to maintain the high standards of NECA’s products and services, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and free of defects. The successful candidate will oversee the entire production process, from crushing raw materials to the final products: base course, hot asphalt mix, and concrete.
In this role, the manager will ensure that embankment and excavation materials comply with the design specifications for soil classification. Additionally, the Quality Control Manager will ensure adherence to safety, legal, and environmental regulations.
The position requires the ability to provide constructive recommendations to superintendents, project inspectors, and technicians to effectively identify and address manufacturing errors. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze quality data and communicate progress reports to upper management and the project team.
To qualify, candidates must hold full certification through the New Mexico Technician Training and Certification Program and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Navajo Engineering and Construction Authority (NECA) is seeking a General Manager for employment at Navajo Engineering and Construction Authority (NECA) in Shiprock, NM. Navajo Engineering and Construction Authority (NECA) seeks a qualified construction professional with extensive construction, business, and leadership experience to manage and operate NECA. Applicants with master’s degree required; PhD preferred in Construction Management and Engineering and Business Administration. Must have a valid state issued driver’s license. Applicants must have knowledge of all types of construction including aspects of construction business, contractual negotiations, technical knowledge and experiences of water and wastewater construction, familiarity with concrete construction, experiences in business methods of vendors and suppliers; must have the ability to resolve discrepancies. Must be familiar with all aspects of road construction. Ensure accurate and timely reporting; Strong organizational communication skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must have and require a Minimum 10 years of experience in construction. Knowledge of Indian Health Service, Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction program is critical for successful applicants. Develop and manage engineering contracts with third party engineering firms including writing scopes of work, engaging with qualified engineering firms to acquire reasonable costs for water/wastewater planning and design & build projects, executing contracts with engineering firms using the EJCDC Short Form contract, monitor & report work progress, issue contract change orders as needed, and closely coordinate all work with the Navajo Area Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction Program (DSFC). Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project Management, AutoCad, and Civil 3D software Must have the ability to resolve discrepancies. Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
