It’s been a while since our last post. We’ve been busy working everyday making people smile. One of our latest projects is this redwood deck in Sierra Pines. The homeowners just purchased the house and prior to the sale someone coated the deck boards with an enamel deck paint which is difficult if not impossible to fully remove without damaging the deck boards. They opted to replace the deck boards with new redwood and we then sanded the entire deck. We went as far as removing the balusters and sanding everything in between so to get the best end result for the customer and moreso that wood. Such beautiful wood. 😍. We then applied a natural stain (with UV protection and water repellant capabilities) to enhance and protect the wood, but no sealer. So in following years reapplication of the protective stain is as simple as painting it on. Follow the progression of the photos to see the process and we’re gonna leave you hanging for a couple of days as we finish this one up this week and post more when it’s completed!
