Journeyman (or woman) Electrician
Full Time-$35-$45/hour
Job Description
One Planet Solar & Wind LLC was the first installer in the area 17yrs ago and has hundreds of happy commercial and residential customers. We are growing and looking for an electrician to join our team! If you are fresh out of trade school or are working at a big contractor and are tired of pulling wire all day, this is the job for you! Solar is one of the fastest growing industries in the world!
-Mainly groundwork but occasional roof work so must be comfortable with heights.
-Quick learner who is able to read and follow install manuals and open to new technologies.
-Understands both code and “cosmetic” desires of clients regarding conduit work.
Requirements
-3-5yrs Journeyman/Master Electrician (Can substitute years with school and trade experience)
-Has own transportation and clean driving record. Transportation allowance provided.
-Able to work 40+hours, 5-6 days per week.

In my 17yrs of business, it is this crap from unscrupulous, OUT OF TOWN solar companies that really makes me mad! Not only are they lying about what the solar system will do to their electric bill, they are tricking people into 25yr loans!! If you know anyone who has been contacted by Greenlight Solar or Spartan Solar, tell them to call me instead! We are local and have made it through some very tough years so we could be here to service our customers.

An energy company went door-to-door in Shreveport, convincing some residents to go solar. But homeowners say they were promised free panels and lower light bills, only to be stuck with long-term loans they can't afford.
