Last Friday, Thrash Construction Services hosted its 11th annual Crawfish Boil, and it was a huge success! Thank you to all of the friends, family, clients, and vendors who came out to celebrate with us. With such a great turnout, not only did we go through two full sacks of oysters, but we also worked our way through 550 pounds of crawfish! Great food, great people, live music from Seth Bradford, and another great year. We hope to see everyone at the next one!

Thrash Construction Services is Honored to Help Preserve History

We are working closely with the City of Shreveport to renovate the historic Old Galilee Baptist Church—the site where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered a powerful Civil Rights speech in 1958.

This sacred space holds profound significance in the ongoing story of justice, faith, and community. We approach this project with the utmost respect and gratitude, knowing that we are helping to preserve a cornerstone of American history and a beacon of hope for future generations.

Thank you to Galilee Baptist Church for entrusting us with this meaningful work. Once the renovation is complete, it will be the home of a new Civil Rights Museum. The Construction team for this project consists of Project Manager Eddie Breaux, Project Superintendents Curtis Reissig and Joseph Gillentine, and Project Assistant Cindy Smith.

Clearview Park Project Update
TCS is proud to partner with the City of Gallatin on the Clearview Park Improvements, a new ground-up community center designed to serve the community for years to come. The teammates working together on this project are Project Managers Jon Polk and Gabe Thrash, Superintendent James Null, and Administrative Assistant Kennedy Groves. We're excited to be working alongside the talented team at Wold Architects and Engineers to deliver this project to the community.

Greenwood Terrace Apartment Renovations
Thrash Construction Services is proud to be working with the Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport for the renovation of the Greenwood Terrace Apartments. The project consists of exterior renovation of 50 duplex apartments and a community center, including new siding, windows, doors, and exterior lighting. The project also includes new HVAC equipment in all 50 buildings, new roofs for 17 buildings, new playground equipment, and new landscaping with an irrigation system. The TCS team members on the project are Project Manager Chris Cox, Superintendent Ethan Ginn, and Administrative Assistant Lindsey Dupree. The TCS team is also working with Lisa Frontaura of TBA for this project.

Earl G Williamson Park Project on Caddo Lake

Thrash Construction Services is underway with a new Fishing Pier and Pavilions for the Earl G. Williamson Park at Caddo Lake. The TCS team is working closely with TBA Studio to complete the project in early 2026.

Thrash Construction Services is working with the City of Shreveport & Mischa Farrell Architects on the Old Galilee Baptist Church Stabilization & Transformation project in Shreveport, LA.

This historical landmark church was built in 1877 and was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech at Old Galilee in 1958 and again in 1962.

The building and grounds will be turned into a Civil Rights Museum. The TCS team is excited to be part of an important historic restoration project with the construction team being led by Project Manager Eddie Breaux, Superintendent Shell Stephenson, and Administrative Assistant Cindy Smith.

Thrash Construction Services is proud to be working with the North Caddo Medical Center for their Annex Building Project. The project includes 7,692 SF of new construction and 3,468 SF of renovation to the existing building. The building's intended uses include a retail pharmacy, dental exam rooms, dental lab, dentist offices, and classrooms. The new pharmacy will be receiving a drive-through as well as a new parking lot to be shared with the adjacent North Caddo Medical Center facilities. The TCS team on the project are Project Manager Chris Cox, Superintendent Ethan Ginn, and Administrative Assistant Dorrie Mathias. The TCS team is also working with Jason Cram with the Vintage Design Group for this project.
