SWEPCO was proud to sponsor Warbird Weekend commemorating 250 years of American heritage at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum in Fayetteville, Ark.

More than 4,500 attendees joined the two-day event to experience remarkable WWII aircraft, including That’s All, Brother, the C-47 that led the main airborne formation on D-Day (pictured).

Thank you to everyone who came out to honor history, celebrate aviation, and make this event unforgettable.

Big news for Texas reliability!

SWEPCO is proud to share Texas customers will benefit from a $200 million Texas Energy Fund grant, administered by the Public Utility Commission of Texas, to modernize nearly 700 miles of needed infrastructure across its service territory.

This investment will boost resiliency, improve reliability, and help keep costs affordable for customers in Texarkana, Longview, and our Panhandle service districts.

These critical grants will bolster resiliency and reliability, reinforcing our dedication to serving Texans today and in the future.

📚🥞 Community in Action at Wilkes Power Plant!

For the fourth year in a row, our team at Wilkes Power Plant hosted their annual pancake breakfast to support Avinger ISD —and this year they raised $606 for school supplies!

The supplies were delivered on May 26, where students and staff helped unload donations that will give kids a great start to the 2026–2027 school year.
“At Wilkes, helping our community is part of our culture,” said Plant Manager Pete Civitarese.
