Recap of our 2026 Summer LEGO Program!

07/10/2026

Our annual Summer LEGO Program officially started this Monday. Week one down, three more weeks to go!
The Summer LEGO camp is our largest fundraiser. Geared towards 4th-8th grade students, campers build an FLL robot based on the prior year’s game (Unearthed), compete against other teams at camp, and build a model rocket. Our program runs for 4 weeks every July with rotating groups of students, reaching over 100 kids every year. The camp is coached by our students and is co-run by a team alum.

FIRST LEGO League Program for Shrewsbury

FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together. It inspires youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Shrewsbury Robotics is pleased to be offering this program again for fall of 2026 (August-December). Please join us for the FLL season kick off meeting in the Oak Middle School Cafeteria on Monday, 6/15/26 at 7:00 p.m. The 2026 program will run in a similar fashion to last year, this includes the start date, so it is important that parents attend this meeting. It is open to all students who will be attending Sherwood & Oak Middle Schools for the 2026/27 school year. Both parents and students are expected and encouraged to attend.
