Our Sidney team continues to deliver across a wide range of industrial, commercial, and specialized projects. These projects wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our people.

We’re especially grateful for leaders like Superintendent Mike Bridges and Project Manager Connor Moran. Mike has spent 19 years with Ferguson, advancing from concrete carpenter to Superintendent, where he now leads teams on complex projects while helping foster the strong culture we value. Connor serves both Ferguson and the U.S. Army, bringing discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence to his role.

Big milestones and exciting beginnings!

We’re proud to celebrate Angel Fries and Isaac Minniear, who have officially signed on as full-time team members after completing their apprenticeship. You worked hard and showed your dedication. Congratulations!

At the same time, we’re thrilled to welcome our incoming highschoolers, Caley O’Meara and Charley Brackney, who will be joining our CMP program starting June 1, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish. (Not pictured: our third CMP participant, Kowen Ludwig).

🏆 Celebrating Three Eagle Award Wins at the ABC Ohio Valley Gala 🏆

This week, members of our team attended the ABC Ohio Valley Chapter's Excellence in Construction Gala.

We are grateful to have been recognized with three Eagle Awards for the following projects:

- Crown Equipment Corporation's Law Office in New Bremen
- Westrafo.-North America in Trotwood
- Miami Valley Child Development Centers, Inc.'s Lincoln Hill in Dayton

These projects represent the collective effort, skill, and dedication of many individuals working together to deliver quality results.

We would also like to recognize our team members who were nominated for individual honors: Kathy Marsh for Woman of the Year, and Larry Everett, Niles Choice, and Chris Hall for Craft Professional of the Year.

A Winning Night for Columbus!

We are proud to announce that our Columbus region brought home two Eagle Awards at the ABC Central Ohio Excellence in Construction Awards last week.

The Diamond Hill and Middle West Spirits Office Renovation projects were both recognized, along with award-winning work from several of our ABC-member subcontractors.

Breaking Ground with GATED | Industrial Growth Underway in Trotwood

Ferguson Construction was proud to break ground yesterday with GATED Properties Global on its latest two Class A industrial developments: one 58,000 square feet and the other 100,000 square feet. We are grateful for the partnership with GATED and the Trotwood Community Improvement Corporation (TCIC) , City of Trotwood, and Dayton Development Coalition.

Construction Safety Week | All In Together

During Construction Safety Week, it’s a good reminder that safety isn’t just a focus for one week. It’s how we work every day.

Programs like VPP and ABC’s STEP certification help us keep learning and working alongside others in the industry, pushing ourselves to meet high safety standards.

We look beyond industry best practices and make sure each client’s specific safety needs are built into our planning. Recently, a safety coordinator from a large industrial client shared this about our field crew:

“Your crew has been professional, respectful, and consistently compliant with all our safety rules. It truly speaks to their safety mindset and work ethic.”

We appreciate feedback like this, and it keeps us motivated. We also know that safety is an ongoing journey, and we’re committed to showing up every day to do our best, knowing we’re all in this together.

It's a Wrap in East Liberty! | NX Group’s Industrial Expansion

We were honored to serve as the general contractor on NX Group’s industrial expansion, a 180,000 SF facility addition, and to celebrate its completion at the ribbon cutting this month. We were surrounded by leadership from across the globe who came together to make this project a success.

This expansion represents a major step forward for NX Group (Nippon Express), supporting increased operational capacity and improved efficiency.

The new space was designed with performance and the future in mind, featuring:
• Energy‑saving design strategies
• Innovative structural planning to accommodate ceiling‑high storage capabilities, allowing the facility to scale with evolving demands

We are proud of our crew, trade partners, and the entire project team for delivering this facility on an expedited timeline. Thank you, NX Group, for the opportunity!

The Ferguson team was proud to support Violence Free Futures as a sponsor of their annual Spring Fling event this year. Joining a packed house at The Greene County Expo Center, our team witnessed the incredible efforts of volunteers and local businesses who came together to create an outstanding silent auction, live auction, and dessert dash.
