💚 Being member-owned changes the way we think about service.

⚡ In this month’s People Behind Your Power, Bob (Field Service Representative Supervisor) shares how everyday decisions start with the members we serve. 🤝 From planning to service to future needs, the SSVEC Team works with our local communities in mind.

🏡 That member-focused purpose is part of what makes the cooperative model different.

🔎 Tuesday Tip 🔎

Before cooler weather arrives, take a quick walk around your home and check doors and windows for drafts. 🏡 Worn weatherstripping, visible gaps, and small cracks can let air escape and come in. 🌬️ These are the kinds of opportunities an energy audit can help identify.

⚡ Start with the easy-to-see areas and make simple improvements where they make sense. Email [email protected] to schedule your FREE member energy audit today. 💚 A gap-free home can help your heating system work more efficiently

💚 Member Monday 💚

Helping members better understand their energy use is another way the cooperative difference comes to life. 🏡 SSVEC offers free residential energy audits to help identify opportunities for efficiency around the home.

🔎 From air leaks and insulation to HVAC performance and everyday energy habits, an audit can provide practical recommendations members can consider. ⚡ The goal is to give you useful information so you can make choices that fit your home and budget.

💡 Energy expertise is a member benefit - and we’re here to help.

⚡ Feature Friday ⚡

Electric cooperatives were built to serve communities, and that responsibility extends beyond poles and wires. 💚 Concern for Community is one of the Seven Cooperative Principles that guide SSVEC.

🎓 Supporting local schools, organizations, families, businesses, and community programs helps strengthen the places our members and employees call home. 🏡

Local ownership keeps community needs close to the work we do. 🤝 During Co-op Month, we’re proud to celebrate the impact cooperatives can make together with their communities.
