POV: Your boss just followed you on social media

People always ask me how I stay busy.

The truth is, I just show up.

I go to events, shake hands, talk to people, and get to know them. Not every conversation has to be about work.

Most of the opportunities I've gotten started with a simple introduction.

Today's not about getting jobs. It's about building relationships, catching up with people, and meeting someone new.

Sometimes a leaking faucet isn't the real problem.

The faucet was leaking, but once we pulled it apart, the iron ni**le behind the wall was completely deteriorated. Corroded threads, heavy buildup, and barely any room for error with tile on one side and an exterior wall on the other.

We carefully extracted it without opening up the wall and replaced what actually needed to be fixed.

A lot of plumbing issues are hidden behind the surface. That's why it's important to find the root cause, not just the symptom.

Had a great time at Sage Realty's client appreciation event in Long Beach.

It was cool seeing so many local business owners, homeowners, and clients all in one place. Events like this are a good reminder that business is really about people and relationships.

Big thanks to Wong and the Sage Realty team for putting it together and showing love to the people who continue to support them.

Proud to be part of a community that looks out for each other.

A dripping faucet might not seem like a big deal.

But leave it long enough and you’re literally watching money go down the drain.

We see it all the time. What starts as a small leak turns into wasted water, higher bills, and sometimes bigger problems hiding behind the wall.

If you’ve got a faucet that’s leaking, don’t keep putting it off. A quick repair today can save you a lot of headaches later.

A lot of older buildings weren't designed with individual unit shutoffs.

So when there's a leak or repair, sometimes the water has to be shut off for multiple residents just to fix one problem.

That's why more newer buildings are being built with shutoffs for each unit. It makes repairs easier and keeps everyone else from being affected.

Makes life a lot easier for everybody.

A lot of people don't realize what happens when a leak gets ignored.

By the time we get there, the faucet, valve, or pipe is sometimes so corroded that replacing one part isn't enough. The leak may have started small, but months later it's a completely different repair.

When we're working on occupied buildings, we also try to be mindful of the people living there. If there's an opportunity to turn the water back on, even for a little while, we'll do it.

Just common courtesy.

Starting a new project in Long Beach with x

This one is a pool house and outdoor kitchen remodel. Before the walls get closed up, the team is replacing old galvanized and copper lines while everything is still exposed.

New cabinets, drywall, tile, paint, electrical, and plumbing all coming next.
