One thing a lot of people get wrong is thinking more slope is better. It isn’t.

If a drain line is too steep, the water can outrun the solids, leaving them behind and eventually causing clogs.

That’s why getting the pitch right matters. It’s one of those details nobody sees, but it makes all the difference in how your plumbing performs for years to come.

Done right the first time. That’s the goal.

Some jobs don’t start with plumbing.

Before we could do anything in this basement, the asbestos had to be removed. The whole area was sealed off for a week while the hazmat crew did their job.

Once it was safe, we came in and got to work.

A lot happens behind the scenes before the plumbing ever starts.

Hear your water heater making weird noises? Don’t wait.

If it starts popping, crackling, or rumbling, there’s a good chance sediment is building up inside the tank. Keep ignoring it and you could end up with leaks or a water heater that quits on you when you need it most.

Also check for rust spots or streaks running down the tank. Those little signs can turn into big problems.
