In 2025, Untapped Ventures stayed focused on the fundamentals. We looked past AI hype cycles to do the work early. Understanding where AI is headed, backing exceptional founders tackling hard problems, and building long-term trust with a deeply aligned LP community.

That focus showed up across investing, content, and community.

Over the course of the year, we:

✅ Launched Season 1 of the Agentic Podcast with 20 episodes, learning directly from founders and operators building at the frontier of AI

✅ Brought together founders, operators, and investors through SF & LA Tech Week events and private AI founder dinners designed for honest, off-the-record conversations

✅ Continued deploying Fund I, now backing 35 AI-native companies, several of which reached meaningful milestones in 2025.

We’re proud to share our investment in Nexxa.ai, following their $9M Seed round, led by Construct Capital, with significant participation from a16z speedrun and continued support from existing investors.

Untapped Ventures backed Nexxa early and chose to invest again in the Seed after watching the team consistently turn a hard technical vision into real deployments across heavy industry.

Nexxa is bringing specialized, agentic AI directly into the workflows that power the economy, without forcing disruptive system overhauls. This is exactly the kind of mission-critical technology we seek to support.
