This morning at McDonald’s, we had a long line when an 83-year-old woman took her time ordering. The young woman behind her got angry, honking and mouthing words. The older woman just stayed calm, paid for both orders, and the girl said a shy “thank you.”

But at the next window, the older woman showed both receipts and took both meals, forcing the honker back to the end of the line. Moral: Don’t ever honk at older folks; they know how to smile while teaching a lesson.
