Here’s a basement remodel project we finished up recently out on Lake Wooten. Customers wanted to update the space to make it more inviting. For entertaining family & friends, having comfortable office space to work in, and displaying some of their artwork/photography (which is pretty cool if you ask us) we think they got what they wanted!

This one included some major improvements including -
Fresh paint for the walls, ceilings, doors & trim
Drywall work
New flooring throughout basement
Entire kitchen added with new counters & appliances
Updated lighting for the kitchen, dining room, living room, office spaces & art wall
Updated bathroom including new vanity, mirrors, & lighting
New trim & baseboards throughout

You can see some of our other work on our website/Facebook/Google
We serve both Kitsap & North Mason counties. We’re filling our schedule for the upcoming spring & summer months. We hope you consider us for your home remodeling needs.

This is a tile job from a farmhouse built in 1905. After 120 years, even the best built homes will have some quirks, and this one was no different. This kitchens floor had a 2” drop from one side to the other. It might not sound like a lot, but it’s something you feel using it daily. After removing the existing tile/flooring layers, we raised the sunken floor back up with multiple layers of sheathing & floor leveler, we then laid down an uncoupling membrane and tiled over the whole floor. We grouted the tiles and ran some new baseboard around the kitchen’s perimeter. Leaving a happy customer!

A neat feature we found on this job - after removing the original tile was a layer of newspaper from the late 1930’s placed between the layers of flooring. We’re not sure what its purpose was (we're guessing it was a time capsule) and we were amazed at how well preserved it was. A cool little collectable for our customer to keep!

Here’s a deck remodel from earlier this summer. The original plan was to replace the 2x6 decking with cedar and update the railing system with something modern. But after removing the decking, the frame was found to be a complete loss! So we started from the ground up, using treated 2x lumber for the new frame, added joist tape to help waterproof it, then topped it off with 5/4 cedar & wire mesh railing. We also added an extension to one side of the deck to give a nice spot for a grill to live. Customer topped it off with a nice dark stain that really makes it look phenomenal.

Here’s a common issue - We got called in for a complaint about the bathroom floor getting soft/spongy around the toilet. You could see the seams in the floor separating. After we got into the meat of it, we found extensive dry rot. Dry rot usually starts from a moisture source (in this case, the toilet had a very small leak at the drain line). Over time, the dry rot continued to migrate, turning the framing & subfloor into powdered swiss cheese. After removing the rot, adding some framing members, laying down new subfloor, & installing a fl**ge extender for the toilet (which likely caused this), it got some new LVP flooring, baseboards, and an updated vanity.

A recent bathroom update for some of our biggest supporters! This included a new tiled walk-in shower with a full-length ledge, a new shower door, some updated fixtures, a wraparound tiled wall, and some fresh paint for the rest of the walls. Some pretty unique tile/colors/patterns were chosen for this, and we think it tied together very well!

Once in a while, a unique one comes along.

Last winter, a customer of ours had a complaint that she hasn't been able to use her raised garden beds, because every spring the local deer would sneak into her backyard and munch on anything she planted. We came up with this idea to keep the critters out. One of the concerns was she wanted access both inside and outside of the planters, so we built in a way where she has full access inside, but can move the netting away from the outside, and hang it back in place when she’s done. The frame was made from treated 2x material, and the netting is held on with hooks that swing out of the way when in use. We shored up the boxes to give them a few more years of life, and this is what we ended up with. We’re pretty sure she was happy with the outcome. The smile from ear to ear is always a good indicator we done good!

Spring & Summer are here! We’re still filling up our schedule. Please check out our Facebook, our website & our Google profile to see some of our other work. We look forward to hearing from you!

In the latest phase of an ongoing window replacement project for one of our Lakeland Village customers. This bedroom had some dated trapezoidal windows that just didn’t jive anymore! The thought was to eliminate them and keep just the center one. We think this was the best solution.

We're still filling up our schedule for the spring & summer months, feel free to reach out to us.
