When customers are powder coating, galvanizing, painting, sandblasting, or otherwise treating metal after marking, the key question becomes: will the mark still show up afterward?

In this one-minute video, you’ll see us run several marking options side-by-side on customer samples, including:

- Standard solenoid
- Heavy-duty solenoid
- Continuous line font
- MV5 M80 air-powered marking for extremely deep marks
- 2D Data Matrix codes for fitting more info into a small space

The customer then runs these samples through their actual production process and determines which option works best for them.

A customer came to us with a tough marking challenge: fit a large amount of text into a very small area while still keeping the mark clean, readable, and permanent.

We programmed the mark, ran a simulation, and dialed in the right settings with the FlyMarker mini STATION until we got the result they needed.

Customer had rust and paint building up on gas piping and was starting to look at replacing it, which would have been a $$$$ project.

We ran a demo with the LC/RR 2000 laser cleaner and were able to strip it clean quickly without impacting the base material.

They’re expecting to extend the life of the piping and avoid that kind of spend for years to come at multiple locations!

How do we make sure every Rocklinizer Carbide Applicator is ready for the field?

We rigorously test every unit before it leaves our factory:

1. Visual inspection against a multi-step QA checklist
2. Hours of automated testing on one of our three in-house stations
3. Final hands-on testing to make sure it performs the way a customer will actually use it

Everything is designed, built, and tested at our factory in Sioux City, Iowa, just like we’ve done for decades. We’ve continued to refine the process over time, but the goal hasn’t changed: every unit works the way it should when it gets to you.
