Cylinder Fill Tech Needed For Sioux Falls SD Location

The cylinder fill tech is responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting Matheson's standard operation procedures. Starting pay up to $22/HR depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
Fills all gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance with safety and quality procedures.
Movement of cylinders as required in the plant. May be required to load and unload trucks.
Completes all documentation and forms in compliance with company and FDA requirements during the fill process.
Requirements:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to safely operate a forklift
must be able to push cart 200 + lbs cylinders and lift 50 + lbs
Willing to train the right individual

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE; - Mandatory must possess a valid commercial Class B Drivers’ License, Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsements, and Medical card; packaged gas straight truck driver; - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. - Must have previous commercial driving experience, or have graduated from an accredited commercial driving school. - Minimum of one year road experience preferred with no previous moving violations for three years. - Must be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record. - Must be able to push cart 200 + lb. cylinders and bend/lift 50+lb containers. - Must have the ability to read and write English language. Perform simple mathematical calculations. Must have ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc. - Ability to perform basic administrative functions and problem solving. - Prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and climbing. - Capable of working in diverse weather and working conditions.
