Metrocon always enjoys visiting our friends at Heritage Elementary. These students are such smart kiddos, and we love sharing what we do with the next generation. Thank you for having us!

A special thank you to Alan Dawson, one of our Metrocon drivers, for taking time to help teach the students about concrete and how it’s made.

Fun fact we shared with our friends: many people call our trucks a cement mixer truck, but the correct name is actually a concrete mixer truck. Cement (the glue) is just one ingredient used to make concrete - along with rock, sand, and water.

We appreciate the opportunity to spend time with the students and answer their great questions!

Buyers beware. There is a scam going on where someone is advertising on Facebook selling concrete for an unbelievable low price. They inform the person they will handle the ordering and purchase of the concrete for a nominal fee. They call the plant a with a more than likely stolen credit card number. They want the company to send the concrete and run the card. One to two weeks later the owner of the card disputes the charge. If you need concrete please call the ready mix company. We all know who is legit and if you are using a reputable finisher. See below phone number and post by the ones who are scamming.
