It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend and neighbor, Bobby Brown. For many years, he dedicated himself to farming in the Acuff community and also served on the Board of Directors of Acuff-McClung Co-op Gin. Bobby Brown departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 84. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Lorenzo First Baptist Church. Immediately following the visitation, the funeral service will commence at 10:00 a.m. at the same location, Lorenzo First Baptist Church,
211 Tyler Avenue, Lorenzo, TX. A graveside service will follow in Littlefield, TX.
Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are extended to the Brown family. We will deeply miss our beloved friend, Bobby Brown.

It is with deep sorrow to announce Jerry Judkins, 83 years young, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Jerry was so kind, and had the friendliest personality. All who knew him, loved him. He was an integral part of the Acuff community and Acuff-McClung Co-op Gin. Through his trucking company, Jerry transported cotton bales and cotton seed for Acuff-McClung for 35 years. We will treasure his memory. His absence will be deeply felt. Our thoughts and prayers are with his sweet family.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to visitation on Sunday evening, May 3, 2026, from 6:00-8:30pm at Lakeridge Funeral Home, 6025 82nd Street, Lubbock, TX.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be Monday afternoon, May 4, 2026, at 2:30pm at South Park Baptist Church, 2201 82nd Street, Lubbock, TX.
