For this project, a local church will be enclosing the existing front covered entrance and making use of new heated space, while adding to / extending out the same roof line to create a new covered drop off area.

Demo got started today on the asphalt and concrete paving that needed to be done first. Footings for the new piers will be underway and poured tomorrow! It’s an exciting time to be getting started on this project!

 Progress updates dropping now!

Referred to as a Pine level rental house, this one has completed the Duke HERS rating Insulation inspection which puts it well on the way to being a HERS rated and certified home with Duke Energy, making this home more energy efficient than if the home were built to standard building code.

Drywall has begun and siding going on. Give it a couple of days and it will be wrapped up tight and looked like a house !

Updates ! ! We’ve been a little slack lately on the update posts, so here is one to get us back into it…

This beautiful setting backs up to a pond with a spectacular view from the back porch. We previously called those one, and appropriately so, the house on the pond!

All Rough-ins have been completed

A special order dark blue, called Marine Blue, siding is well underway in a combination of Board and Batten with some shake style accents on both the house and detached shop!

Sheetrock has been hung throughout and will soon get tape, mud and sanding to a nice smooth finish in preparation for paint!

Check back soon for cabinet install and interior trim.
