Our inaugural version celebrates RIMA's Annual Awards Dinner at the Omni Providence Hotel — sponsored by Beacon Bank — the most successful and best-attended event in RIMA’s history. The incredible energy in the room reflected the strength of Rhode Island’s 60,000+ manufacturing employees who power our state’s economy every day.

This milestone event would not have been possible without the support of everyone who sponsored, nominated, and attended, along with our valued partners including Beacon Bank, Polaris MEP, Insperity, Meridian Printing, Adler Po***ck & Sheehan P.C., Frogs Videography and RIMA's signature sponsors including Amgen Gallagher Raytheon Taco CBIZ and more. RIMA is proud to honor each of our winners throughout 2026: Henry D. Sharpe Award, West Warwick Welding, Al Lubrano MVP Award, Steve Ilmrud, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Next-Gen Leadership Award, Ronald Fasano, Fasano Corporation, Inc., Manufacturing Innovation Award Nicholas A Jones, ChemArt, Partner of the Year Award, Atlantic Paper & Supply, President’s Award, Benjamin White, Taco, Inc., and the RIMA Chairman's Chairman’s Award to RIMA co-founder David A. Brown, Whittet-Higgins Company, who brought the house down with his remarks.

This issue also highlights two important milestones for Rhode Island manufacturing:

• The launch of RIMA’s Women’s Leadership Council, bringing together the state’s most powerful and influential female leaders to help shape the future of business and manufacturing.
• RIMA was honored to stand with Governor Dan McKee for the signing of Executive Order 26-01, an important step toward expanding Rhode Island’s renewable energy options and strengthening our manufacturing competitiveness.

We are grateful for the continued leadership, innovation, and collaboration that make Rhode Island’s manufacturing community stronger every day.
