Since Ruby-Collins' incorporation in 1970, we have performed projects throughout the Southeastern United States, with the main areas of Construction being Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Ruby-Collins' main business model consists of constructing Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, and Utilities (Sanitary, Water, and Storm Drains) for local Municipalities, State, and the

Federal Government. We have constructed four MARTA Stations and several Bridges and Intersections for the Georgia Department of Transportation, as well as constructing Taxiways for the Atlanta Airport.

Big lifts are driving major progress at the City of Albany, GA Joshua Street Water Pollution Control Plant. Working alongside project engineer Ardurra, our team recently set the structural double tees for the new Dewatering Building, marking an important milestone in the plant’s comprehensive solids handling and miscellaneous improvements project.

Once complete, the upgrades will enhance solids processing, improve operational reliability, and help support the facility for years to come.

Ruby-Collins was proud to join Coweta County Water & Sewerage Authority, Garver, and community leaders to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Chattahoochee River Raw Water Intake and Pump Station.

As the first new Chattahoochee River water intake south of Atlanta in more than 100 years, this project represents a major investment in regional water supply resiliency and long-term growth.

Supporting the next generation of construction professionals starts with education and opportunity.

At South Paulding High School, Ruby-Collins hosted an engaging two-day OSHA 10-hour training designed to prepare students for careers in the construction industry. With hands-on activities and interactive learning, students earned certifications that will remain with them for life.

Progress continues on the Butler Trunk/Relief and Ponce Piedmont New Diversion Sewer project for the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management. 🚧

The project includes nearly 7,000 feet of upsized gravity sewer and 1,600 feet of new diversion sewer, using multiple construction methods to navigate a busy urban corridor while improving the infrastructure beneath some of the oldest streets of Atlanta. The Ruby-Collins team has completed 70% of the work and is currently tracking five months ahead of schedule!
