I am privileged to have the chance to contribute to the restoration of this iconic Legend. The aim is to restore her to flying condition and feature her at our very own Smyrna Air show, and, if circumstances permit, the Paris air show. We have lofty expectations for this remarkable aircraft.

Those that don’t know my story, I am my fathers prodigy. He has been taking me to work with him as long as I can remember, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t raise my kids the same way. Today my son (born on my dad’s birthday after he passed) asked me to explain to him what I was doing then ask to try. To say my dad is dancing with joy up in heaven would be an understatement. At S&S we are family, and aviation runs in our blood. I will always make time for my customers but I may also be dragging a kid along. After all I did get stuck in a jet engine 2 days before he was born 😆 I think it’s only fair to teach them the ropes.
