This week, we celebrated our 2026 Meta Data Center Community Action Grant recipients at the Stanton Springs Data Center — and it was a joy to bring together this year’s grant recipients, community partners, Meta team members, and local leaders!
Through our Data Center Community Action Grants program, Meta provides funding for nonprofits and schools — addressing critical community needs by putting technology to use for community benefit, enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities, improving local STEAM education — to support the long-term vitality of Newton, Walton, Morgan and Jasper Counties. Learn more on this year’s projects:
Atha Road Elementary School: To establish a dedicated STEM makerspace where students use hands-on tools to develop 21st century skills in creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.
Camp Twin Lakes: To provide adaptive STEAM learning and scholarships for children with serious illnesses and disabilities, fostering resilience through inclusive science education.
Eastside High School, Newton County: To establish a student-managed, fully automated hydroponic farm that utilizes mobile-controlled technology to teach modern precision agriculture and sustainable food systems.
