Summit Excavation,Inc. is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated Equipment Operator/Truck Driver. This is a year-round position!
Summit Excavation, Inc. is a locally owned construction business committed to superior service and results. Our scope of work spans from single home site preparation to commercial subdivision development, ADEC certified septic system installation and oil & gas construction/maintenance.
What we are looking for:
· The right individual for our team will be self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
· Must work well in a team setting and follow direction from job supervisor.
· Experience running heavy equipment.
· Knowledge of basic maintenance of heavy equipment (Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer, Front End Loader and Grader)
· CDL (required), experience driving dump truck and/or semi-truck is preferred
Responsibilities:
· Affective communication skills with supervisors and co-workers.
· Perform daily pre and post inspections of trucks and equipment.
· Load and unload tools, materials and equipment
· Assist in site preparation
· Must be able to lift 50lbs
· Wash and maintain equipment to company standard.
· Maintain all employee related daily paperwork (timecards, load sheets, road sheets, etc.)
Qualifications:
Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Required)
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours, as needed
License/Certification:
CDL (Required)
