As we recognize National Preparedness Month, take a few minutes this week to build or refresh your emergency kit. Include essentials like bottled water, nonperishable food, flashlights, extra batteries, a first-aid kit, medications, phone chargers and important documents.

UPDATE at 6pm - Power has been restored. Please call 1-800-376-3533 if you are still without power.

UPDATE at 4:00pm - Evergy has found the issue and is working on getting it fixed.

Pearl metering point is off due to an Evergy issue. They are working on locating the problem.
At this time, there is no estimated restoration time.
Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Notice of Special Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of DS&O Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DSO), will meet on September 28, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the cooperative's headquarters office, located at 201 Dakota Drive in Solomon, to discuss and vote upon proposed changes to the Parallel Generation Rider.

This meeting is open to any member who wishes to attend. K.S.A. 66-104d(g) provides that members may petition the Kansas Corporation Commission to review of any rate change. Any member with questions may contact the DSO office during business hours at 800-376-3533.
