When we were entrusted with this project, the goal was clear: transform a single, outdated bathroom into two modern, durable bathrooms designed to withstand the demanding conditions of a snow groomer maintenance facility.

Because these spaces are exposed to constant moisture and extreme temperature fluctuations, every material and design decision was made with longevity and performance in mind. The renovation included all new electrical and plumbing, relocation of the hot water tank, and the installation of wall-mounted heaters in each bathroom to maximize durability and simplify maintenance.

To create an environment built to last, we installed Hardie® cement board panels for the wainscoting, metal roofing panels on both the walls and ceilings, PVC 1x4 trim, and exterior-grade fiberglass doors throughout. One of the biggest challenges was correcting the significant slope in the existing concrete floors. We leveled the floors with concrete before installing commercial-grade glue-down LVT flooring to ensure a durable, long-lasting finish.

To complete the space, we installed sleek floating vanities in each bathroom to keep cabinetry off the floor and crafted custom snowboard shelves, adding a unique finishing touch that reflects the character of the facility.

This project is a perfect example of combining thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and commercial-grade materials to create spaces that are not only visually appealing but engineered to perform for years to come.

I have just finalized my personal kitchen renovation, which involved refinishing select cabinets and constructing others from scratch, fabricating custom concrete countertops, and installing a countertop-to-ceiling backsplash.
