Did you know that Kentucky Hardwood Lumber was the start of the Somerset Hardwood Flooring brand? CEO Steve Merrick purchased the sawmill in 1978 at the age of 18. Today, it still operates as a lumber concentration yard, and employees 48 workers from around South Central Kentucky.
