Wet and rainy days call for a project update! Nearly all the steel is set in place for the new fieldhouse at Meece Middle School.

Probably our favorite milestone of a project. No flash or flare, just the meat and potatoes. With some good weather we plan to see this beauty under roof in the coming weeks!

Update from DCT -

1. Zaxbys of London opened their store Monday 9/15. What a humbling and rewarding project for us, helping build one of a handful new "prototype" designs currently in the U.S.
2. The renovation project for the beautiful Cumberland Valley National Bank & Trust of Somerset (while remaining open during construction) is now complete and ready to serve you!
3. Tri-City Motors hired DCT to furnish and erect a new facility to serve as their showroom. Our work will complete before the building is in use, but this will be a sight to see when done!
4. We are graciously serving under D.W. Wilburn, Inc. to furnish and erect the new fieldhouse at Meece Middle School. Steel er****on started this week! There truly aren't words to describe the facility these young women and men will soon have to use.
5. Several Ceco Building Systems materials orders have delivered recently; aiding our repair efforts to buildings affected by the tornado in May. Treado Collision Center is almost complete (see photos) and we are beginning demo at SKRECC.

Looking forward to sharing more with all of you as things progress!

Our hearts are with everyone in Somerset, London, and the surrounding areas as our communities continue to recover from the devastating tornado. The damage has been deeply felt—not just to buildings, but to the lives and memories built within them.

Our superintendent Tim Daulton, who has proudly had a hand in constructing much of what was impacted in Somerset, was able to share his perspective in a recent interview. His words reflect what we all feel: this isn’t just about structures—it’s about our people, neighbors, and community that mean so much to us.

We are committed to standing with our community and neighbors through every step of recovery. For those in need of support, several local outreach stations have been set up to provide resources, supplies, and shelter. Information to those resources and shelters for tonight's storm can be found below.

Together, we will rebuild—stronger than ever.

Bittersweet, that sums it up. Removing the project sign makes you take a step back and remember what it took to get here. The lessons learned, sleepless nights, milestones achieved, good days and bad.. all culminate into this.

On one hand, you're excited to see this beautiful facility coming together and being used, and getting paid is nice! But, is it the end result that promotes celebration? Or, working with an exceptional owner, team of contractors, and making physical improvements with the effort to leave it better than you found it. That's joy money can't buy.

It's been an honor to serve Science Hill School and the great people who proudly wear the yellow jacket colors. Thank you God, for this opportunity!

Since the kind folks at Deco Architects, Inc. shared a teaser of the Cumberland Valley National Bank & Trust Somerset branch renovation (link to their post here - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19vqp9GYS2/), we want to share some progress photos with you!

It has been slow so far (receiving materials, installing the new roof membrane system, and starting storefront glass changeout). We're excited to help push the "new year new me" motto of this Pulaski County landmark!
