Whitman was excited to celebrate Earth Day in our office, and our team showed up big for eco-friendly fun and lots of laughs! 🌍🎉

Activities included a Succulent Planting Station for everyone to pot their own succulent for their office or home, an Eco Trivia Game putting our environmental knowledge to the test, and a Fun Mug Contest to promote sustainability.

We are also proud to be hosting a company-wide clothing drive throughout all of Earth Week to help keep textiles out of landfills and put them back into the hands of people who need them.

Congratulations to Whitman’s Environmental Technician Chris Graff on obtaining his Asbestos Safety Technician (AST) Certification from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA)!

Chris is now certified to monitor and inspect asbestos abatement work conducted in facilities including schools, public buildings, and commercial facilities to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, pursuant to the Asbestos Hazard Abatement Subcode (N.J.A.C. 5:23-8).

Chris is a member of Whitman’s in-house team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals who are certified in performing asbestos, lead and mold inspections and assessments, and air monitoring during asbestos abatement activities in both the public and private sectors to help keep spaces safe.

He leads our team of in-house engineers who have provided complete design services for more than 3 GW of renewable energy systems across the country. ☀️
