🚨 NOW HIRING — SHOP MECHANIC / LABORER 🚨
KAT Construction — Sour Lake, Texas
We are looking for a Shop Mechanic / Laborer to join our team full-time.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding job. You need to be someone who isn’t afraid to work, get dirty, lift heavy, and work in tough conditions.
💪 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Able to perform heavy lifting
Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
Willing to get dirty and work in harsh conditions
Comfortable working in extreme heat and outdoor conditions
Dependable and willing to work
Mechanically inclined
Able to perform general maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment
Experience working on 18-wheelers, heavy equipment, or construction equipment is a plus
🔧 JOB DUTIES:
General maintenance on trucks
Maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
Work on 18-wheelers and other construction vehicles
Shop cleanup and general labor
Assist mechanics and operators as needed
Keep equipment maintained and ready to work
This is NOT an easy job. You will be working around heavy equipment, trucks, grease, dirt, mud, heat, and harsh conditions. We need someone who is physically capable, dependable, and willing to work.
💰 PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
⏰ FULL-TIME — 40–60 HOURS PER WEEK, SOMETIMES MORE
