Cubed today announced the completion of a lettuce study with N-Sight™, its rapid plant health testing system. The results verified the ability of N-Sight™ to measure key nutrients such as nitrogen (N), potassium (K) and select micronutrients namely calcium and zinc in lettuce samples. Cubed is continuing the development of N-Sight™ to measure total moisture, carbohydrates/sugars, phosphorus and additional micronutrients

In early trials, N-Sight™'s model creation system successfully auto-generated test models using a variety of sample data. Kai is back to demonstrate how easy it is to use Cubed Labs CRD Botrytis Rapid Test and explain how to read the results. He is an 8th grade student who just finished studying plant pathogens with us as a summer project and learned how to run a rapid test on his own.

On-site tests are designed for ease-of-use and can be used by anyone. Lateral flow style tests, like CRD Botrytis, are used in 3 simple steps: 1. collect a sample, 2. prepare a sample and 3. test. It's that simple.

Kai explains the finer points of the Disease Triangle as it relates to botrytis and strawberries. He is an 8th grade student who just finished studying plant pathogens with us as a summer project and wants to show off his new knowledge.

Avoiding plant disease and pests requires tracking 3 factors:
- Susceptible host plants
- The presence of a pathogen or pest
- The favorable environments for disease
