Lykowski Construction, Inc. was organized in 1974. Our geographical location has contributed in the opportunity to work in the neighboring states of Michigan and Illinois. Lykowski Construction follows all regulatory statutes enabling them to conduct business in all three states. We presently have equipment to safely transport a building up to 1,000 tons with capabilities to move heavier. Between Lykowski Manufacturing, Inc. and Lykowski Construction, Inc., we have the equipment and the knowledge to manage your project. By building the very equipment we employ, our staff is well versed in the skillful handling of your building. This allows our team to complete your project safely, efficiently, and on time. However, since established in 1974, Lykowski Construction, Inc. is proud to say we have never had a claim for damage to a building, injury or death on any of our projects. A few weeks ago we sat the cottage on Clear Lake. After our initial lift, we found the substructure needed repairs to be able to set it back down on its new foundation. New floor joist were sistered in, the header beam was rebuilt, and a new sill plate was fastened to the house.

Currently we're working on a 100+ year old cottage in Buchanan near Clear Lake. We are lifting it and pouring a new 4’ foundation beneath. The owners were told by another moving company that their beautiful stone fireplace in the living room had to be removed prior to lifting, but that is not the case! We're thrilled to be able to preserve it.
