It’s a simple little space… but we love it. Tucked in the woods. We laugh at how it started. Took your life in your hands walking in here. Don’t trip!! Watch the poison ivy! Don’t get stuck on thorns! But we cleared a space. Our bonfire space. Collected limbs for a teepee. Solar lanterns. Tiki  torches. Hanging Harry. Roasting marshmallows. Rustic signs and a dream of so much more. 🥰

It’s a boy!!!! So much fun! We have watched the milkweed, the caterpillars, and patiently awaiting a chrysalis!! And it happened!

Nature is amazing and we got to witness it!!

So hoping he makes it through the night and flies off tomorrow. Moved him back to a protected space out of wind and elements.

Fly away little guy! Thank you for letting us share in your moment of glory!

Put up 30+ bags of frozen sweet corn today. House smelled amazing. You know… you have to sample each batch to make sure it’s good. It’s good! 😋

Cleared out some rows yesterday and replanted for Fall harvest.

Shout out to an amazing man who created our shed/coop with lots of thought! So pleased with the roof. She’s a looker! Well done Ryan! So proud of you and very grateful for what you do for us and our little homestead 🥰

Yes…. I know… I planted it too close. Honestly, didn’t think it would grow. Then couldn’t bring myself to thin it!
