The Young Professionals team stepped out for a farewell lunch to celebrate Kenzi and everything she’s brought to Alliance.

From collaboration on projects to everyday energy in the office, Kenzi has been an integral part of our team culture. While we’ll miss her presence around the studio, we’re excited to see what’s next in her journey.

Great teams build great spaces — but more importantly, they build lasting friendships.

Wishing you continued success, Kenzi. You’ll always be part of the Alliance story.

Today, we pause to remember.

On this Memorial Day, Alliance Architects honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have shaped the freedoms we experience every day.

As designers of civic, educational, healthcare, and community spaces, we are mindful that the environments we help create exist because of the sacrifices made to protect our nation.

We remember. We honor. We are forever grateful.

Please join us in welcoming Caty Leahy to Alliance Architects as our Mechanical Engineering Intern!

Caty joins us from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a rising senior at the University of Notre Dame, where she is studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Studies. Her academic focus on energy systems and building performance aligns seamlessly with the integrated, forward-thinking approach we bring to every project.

Outside of engineering, Caty is just as driven — she enjoys running and is an active member of her choir. Whether she’s optimizing systems or harmonizing with a group, teamwork clearly comes naturally.

We’re excited to have Caty contribute her curiosity, technical insight, and energy to the Alliance team this summer. Welcome aboard, Caty!

Supporting our community goes beyond design.

On Saturday, May 9, Alliance team members volunteered in support of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation.

Across more than 10,000 cities and towns, letter carriers collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and deliver them to local food banks and pantries. Over the past 30 years, this effort has provided more than 1.82 billion pounds of food to families in need.

This year, our team assisted by sorting and organizing donated food to ensure it quickly reached area families. With one in ten Americans facing hunger, local action truly matters.

We are proud to stand alongside organizations and volunteers working to strengthen the communities we live and work in.

May the Force be with you. ⭐

In our galaxy, the Force looks a lot like creativity, collaboration, and technical precision.

At Alliance Architects, we believe great design doesn’t happen by chance — it happens through discipline, mentorship, and a clear vision for the future. From navigating complex codes to delivering construction-ready details, we embrace every challenge like a well-planned mission.

No dark side here — just thoughtful planning, strong partnerships, and a commitment to building better communities.

Whether we’re designing healthcare spaces, educational environments, or community-focused projects, the Force that guides us is purpose-driven architecture.

Happy May 4th from Alliance Architects.

Alliance Architects was pleased to attend the AIA Northern Indiana April Program held at Chicory Café in Mishawaka.

The April program, State of the Chapter: Lessons Learned from the 2026 AIA Leadership Summit & Indiana General Assembly Session Update, provided valuable insight into the national priorities shaping our profession and the legislative developments impacting architects across Indiana. Thank you to Jason Shelley, Hon. AIA, Executive Director of AIA Indiana, for delivering a clear and substantive update on advocacy efforts and leadership initiatives.

We are especially proud that our Principal, Andy Mollison, is serving as President of AIA Northern Indiana. Strong chapter leadership and engaged membership are essential to advancing advocacy, professional development, and the future of architecture in our region.

Conversations like these strengthen our collective voice and reinforce the importance of leadership at every level of practice.

Building more than spaces. Building community.

On April 25, members of the Alliance team participated in Rebuilding Together Volunteer Day, partnering with South Bend Heritage Foundation to provide meaningful home repairs for seniors, veterans, and families in our community. This year, we had the privilege of working on Shirley’s home, helping complete improvements that directly enhance comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Alice Hiniker, Jaime Gutierrez, Giorgia Tasinazzo, and Luis Olguin proudly represented Alliance, stepping away from their desks and into hands-on service. As architects, we design environments that shape communities — but opportunities like this allow us to make an immediate, tangible difference.

We are grateful to South Bend Heritage Foundation and Rebuilding Together for continuing to rebuild homes, revitalize neighborhoods, and restore hope. It is an honor to support work that strengthens the very community we call home.

Earth Day 2026 🌿

At Alliance Architects, we believe great design goes beyond aesthetics—it shapes healthier communities and a more sustainable future.

From thoughtful material selection to energy-conscious planning, every decision we make is an opportunity to reduce impact and enhance the built environment.

This Earth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to designing spaces that respect the planet while serving the people who inhabit them.

Designing today for a better tomorrow.

World Art Day

Before a building is constructed, it is imagined.
Before it is imagined, it is drawn.

Architecture begins as lines — gestures that test light, proportion, and spatial rhythm. Through iteration, those sketches evolve into environments that serve communities, foster connection, and shape experience.

On World Art Day, we recognize the artistic process embedded in our work — from conceptual studies to fully realized renderings.

Design is not just problem-solving. It is storytelling through space.

National Public Health Week | April 6–12, 2026
Ready. Set. Action.

Public health begins long before someone enters a hospital.

The built environment plays a critical role in shaping community well-being — from accessibility and dignity of care to safe circulation, daylight, and welcoming spaces that reduce stress and support healing.

As we celebrate National Public Health Week, we are reminded of the responsibility architects carry in designing environments that promote healthier outcomes.

Our ongoing renovation of the Women’s Care Center in Indianapolis reflects this commitment — creating a space that supports families, strengthens access to care, and serves the community with intention.

We recognize and thank the public health professionals who work tirelessly every day. As designers, we are proud to contribute in the ways we can — through thoughtful, human-centered spaces.

Healthy communities are designed as much as they are supported.
