🚨 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: JACOB aka “JakeBreak” 🚨

After this past month its officially time for a Facebook spotlight on one our employees.. Jacob.

Jacob has been with us since DAY ONE and watching him grow and learn over the years has honestly been wild. He went from just hanging out helping out on smaller tasks, to becoming the guy we all depend on. For everything.

The crazy part… Jacob is technically a “part-time” employee, working full-time hours. On top of working for CNC he’s also a full-time electrician. So after most people punch out, He somehow without a doubt shows up ready for Round 2 with us.

When something breaks? Call Jacob. Something making a weird noise? Call Jacob. Someone to somehow make an impossible situation work? Call Jacob.

We’re pretty convinced he runs on an unhealthy passion for street sweepers.

And at only 21 years old, there aren’t many people out there with Jacob’s work ethic. The kid genuinely cares, takes pride in what he does, and shows up every single time.

If cloning Jacob becomes legal someday, we will be first in line.

Appreciate everything you do, JakeBreak. We’d be in a world of hurt without ya!

In this industry it’s great to have friends. Thank you to Dustin and Jeremy @ Hopkins Milling and Paving. They joined forces with Derek and Alec today who were operating our 250XF mill. Combined, we were able to knock out downtown Greenville before lunch. 1955 combined hp made the lane and shoulder pass go very quick. 💪

Today wraps up the milling on this 24 mile project. 350,000 SY of pavement removal was completed in just 15 shifts. The roadway Recycling ♻️ kicks off next Friday on this $23.6 mm federally funded highway Rehabilitation project. Project Completion is expected by Labor Day with Major Paving milestones slated for June and July. 🚧

A smooth ride to 🫎 Moosehead Lake is not far away. Please continue to drive safely through our work zones.

Big day for the CNC Roadway Solutions crew!

Today four of our team members walked out of the BMV with their CDL permits in hand. 💪🏻👷🏼‍♂️🚛

A lot of studying, dedication, and determination went into preparing for this test, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort these guys put in.

At CNC Roadway Solutions we believe in investing in our people and helping them grow, and today is a great reminder of what dedication and hard work can accomplish.

Getting their CDL means bigger trucks, bigger responsibilities, and even bigger opportunities moving forward not just for the company, but for them personally as they continue building their careers.

Our hearts are with the families and coworkers of the two Maine DOT workers who did not make it home tonight. We are holding everyone affected by this loss in our thoughts.

This situation serves as a quiet reminder to all of us, to slow down and be mindful when traveling through construction zones. Many days, our own CNC Roadway employees are in those same situations, working along side busy highways so others can travel safely. It’s a sobering and sometimes scary reality.

A little extra patience, awareness, and care can truly make a difference. Please do your part to help us keep our roads and the people working on them safe.

2025 was hands-down our best year yet, and none of it would be possible without our hardworking, dedicated crew who show up day in and day out
