Big day in downtown Concord! Yesterday we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the new Legislative Parking Garage, built for the State of New Hampshire right in the historic heart of the city. This 104,000-square-foot, four-story structure delivers 400 parking spaces plus bicycle storage for New Hampshire's legislators.

The garage was designed to complement its historic surroundings, with precast concrete detailing and window-like openings that echo the architecture of the adjacent State House and Legislative Office Building. Framed by Green, School, Capitol, and North State streets, this project required careful coordination to deliver in the middle of a busy downtown block.

ATTENTION TRADE PARTNERS AND VENDORS

PC Construction is looking for trade partners and vendors to work with us on the Parkway WRF Phase 1 Expansion project in Kissimmee, Florida.

This project consists of the expansion and upgrade of several process areas at Parkway WRF, including process mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation improvements, to increase the plant’s treatment capacity from 1.5 mgd to 2.0 mgd. Work includes the construction of a new clarifier, chlorine contact chambers and improvements to the emergency storage basins, electrical, and instrumentation and controls.

A Milestone Fifty Years in the Making!

Today we honor Senior Superintendent Jody Atkins and his incredible 50-year anniversary, a feat no other PC employee owner has ever achieved. That’s a half century of outstanding talent, tireless dedication, and unrivaled work ethic. Jody is unmatched not only in his longevity but more importantly in his incredible legacy – from the hundreds of construction projects that bear his stamp of highest-quality work to the thousands of lives he’s touched along the way.

Congratulations, Jody. You are a true inspiration, mentor, and leader. PC is so proud to have been your home for five decades and beyond.

We blinked and summer is gone! While the season flew by, our team was hard at work getting the new addition at Porters Point School ready for tomorrow's first day of school. Watching these rooms take shape has been so rewarding, and we're grateful to have played a part in building the place where these students will learn, grow, and make memories for years to come. From all of your friends at PC Construction, welcome back! We hope you love your new school. 🩵

Looking ahead, construction will move into its final phase – partial demolition and renovation of the existing building with a focus on creating a cohesive flow between the two spaces.

PC Construction is bringing mass timber to life at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife headquarters in Augusta, preserving the historic building shell while flanking it with two new additions built using mass timber.

With 175,000 board feet of CLT and 72,000 board feet of glulam, the hybrid steel/timber additions are especially fitting, housing the state wildlife agency in a building made from the very forests it protects, and pursuing LEED Silver along the way.

We are proud to partner with Oak Point Associates, South County Post & Beam, and Stone Bridge Iron & Steel to bring these new additions to life.

The Inland Fisheries and Wildlife headquarters combines historic preservation with mass timber, incorporating glue-laminated (glulam) and cross-laminated timber (CLT).

Family night at the ballpark! The Florida team capped a day of training on Friday with an outing to Jackie Robinson Ballpark where the Daytona Tortugas Professional Baseball took the win against the Palm Beach Cardinals. Great food, great company, and a few new PC fans in the stands! ⚾
