SKILLS:
- Self-motivated & reliable
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with other workers, foremen, and contractors
- Able to work as part of a team and coordinate tasks efficiently
- Able to read & follow blueprints, schematics & drawings
- Knowledge of layout, dimensions & material specifications
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for measuring, cutting & planning materials
- Knowledge of geometry & angles for cutting wood & laying out structures
- Attention to detail, specifically precision in cutting, measuring, and joining materials to ensure a high level of craftsmanship
- Able to detect mistakes in measurements or alignments before construction is finalized
- Able to complete tasks within a set timeframe to meet construction deadlines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of framing/carpentry experience
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Able to lift & carry heavy materials, like lumber, beams & plywood
- Endurance for standing, bending & working in challenging environments for extended periods
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, equipment, and surroundings
- Understand & apply all codes for relevant job site

One of the great parts of building is a client seeing their home take shape, and coming from 2 dimensionsal drawings to 3 dimensional space.. feeling the spaces and seeing the building elevations for the 1st time.

Sharing a look at a secluded lakeside home on the east side at the center of the 32 mile Lake George in Huletts Landing.
Privacy and seclusion are highlighted on this property as the undeveloped bay gives the ultimate lakefront privacy setting. Much different from the busy development of other regions of the lake. What a summer paradise!

This recent project showcases a mtn side home with incredible panoramic views of Lake George. Nestled on the ridges of the lakes west side, it bolsters stunning looks at the Sagamore Hotel, dome island, and the narrows.. also the mtns of the east side like buck mtn, sleeping beauty, and shelving rock.

We were hired to do all structural framing elements on the bridge house, in Chester NY on Friends Lake.

We wanted to share this incredible home. Please take the photo tour!

This contemporary design is built of steel and wood. The steel elements are throughout the finished home and the floor to roof glass windows and doors will complete the modern design.
Always a challenge to marry conventional framing methods into a steel structure (especially this much steel) but we studied the 100’s of pages of drawings for this home and incorporated the details to the T!
