National Night Out is always a great opportunity to spend time in the communities we proudly serve, and this year our team was out across Little Silver, Oceanport, Fair Haven, Hackensack, and Jersey City.

We enjoyed meeting local families and connecting with the first responders and community leaders who work hard to keep their towns safe. Building these relationships is an important part of being a local resource, long before an emergency ever happens.

We were proud to sponsor Wanamassa Elementary School's 4th Grade Celebration and help recognize such an exciting milestone for the students. Supporting local schools is one of the many ways we stay connected to the communities we serve, and it was a pleasure to be part of a day filled with fun and well-deserved recognition for the students as they wrapped up elementary school.

Julie was honored to represent SERVPRO® Team Majeski at this year's Eatontown Industrial Park Association (EIPA) Annual Mayor's Meeting alongside so many local businesses and community leaders.

This event gave Julie the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces on our behalf, meet new people, and hear updates about the exciting growth taking place across Eatontown and Monmouth County. It's encouraging to see so much investment in the communities we proudly serve.

John and his son, Johnny, recently completed their Backpacking for Backpacks challenge! The two spent several days trekking through New Hampshire's Presidential Range in support of Team Walker.

The trip brought long climbs, heavy packs, changing conditions, and unforgettable memories. While the weather prevented them from completing the full Presidential Traverse, they successfully summited Mount Madison, Mount Adams, and Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast.

Most importantly, the challenge helped raise awareness and support for Team Walker's mission to provide backpacks and school supplies to local children in need. John and Johnny also had the opportunity to visit the Team Walker Learning Center, where they met children participating in the organization's summer program and saw firsthand the impact of Team Walker's work in the Jersey City community. According to John, “Climbing the mountains was our challenge. These children were our why.”

Thank you to everyone who donated, followed the journey, and helped make Backpacking for Backpacks a success. All of us at Team Majeski are incredibly proud of John and Johnny for taking on this adventure together and supporting such a meaningful cause!
