Jamco Excavators is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team! The Project Engineer assists the Superintendent and Project Manager, contributing to the successful ex*****on of each project. You will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the profitability and schedules of ongoing projects.

Your Role:
• Log PO’s, subcontracts, insurance certificates
• Purchase project materials
• Develop change orders and submittals
• Keep specific notes, records, sketches, daily reports, and field books organized and verify planned work to be included into the projects record documents
• Shop drawing review
• Resolve design conflicts
• Control document distribution
What You Bring to The Team:
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to excel in fast paced environment
• Self-motivated, collaborative, creative and analytical
• Remarkable attention to detail
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

On Sunday July 23, 2023 we received tragic news that our friend and longtime employee Travis Labonte passed away at home, unexpectedly, from natural causes. Travis started his career here in 2004 but could be found much earlier than that on our job sites. Travis had a natural ability and love for our industry. The larger the challenge, the better Travis was at overcoming it. He started his career at Jamco as a general laborer, with a focus on pipe work. His father, Todd Labonte, a Pipe foreman for Jamco, made sure that he learned the business from the ground up. Travis quickly earned respect from his co-workers by proving his worth, time and time again. Travis was an even better husband, father & brother. If you knew Travis, you knew his family came before all else. While this is typically the case for us all, Travis took it to the next level.
