We designed and built this custom shower based on the client’s wishes…as you can see it’s not your standard outdoor shower, it has a tiled niche for toiletries and even a cut out so they can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain in their backyard!

We love to show off one of our finished projects! This farmhouse style house with its covered porch and attached “barn style” garage fits perfectly on this gorgeous piece of land. It is the extra details that make this house a stand out. The addition of the board and batten siding accompanied by the standing seam metal roof on the porch on the main house enhance the design while still keeping a clean overall look. The crown jewel is the stunning arched mahogany double front door that welcomes you into the house. The clients also chose to do a stamped concrete walkway that mimics the look of stone.

We talk all the time here at Olde Colonial Building Company about how more “detail” can bring your space to another level and how the right paint color brings woodwork to life. Here is the proof. Check out the transformation on this dining room with this “before and after.” The client’s asked us to add a wood coffered ceiling to their dining room and painted it to match the existing woodwork and trim. The addition of the ceiling woodwork elevated this room and completed the vision that the homeowner for this space.

Another peek into our latest custom build…we have so many things to talk about in the picture! First off we just love when clients add areas to accommodate specific needs in any part of the house…in this case the kitchen. This bar area is perfect for entertaining guests. The sink, refrigerated drawers and extra counter space all allow guests to have access to drinks and snacks while keeping the rest of the kitchen free. The lighted cabinets and beautiful tile backsplash finish the look and add a high end feel to the space.

Sneak peek of our latest custom build…feast your eyes on these gorgeous floors! The entryway features clear white oak floors in a herringbone pattern while the dining room, living room and kitchen have character grade white oak floors that boast all the true “character” of the natural wood with the knots and varying grain patterns.

The materials for the flooring were sourced from our friends at Ponders Hollow Custom Wood Flooring & Millwork and the finishing was done by the incredible guys at RJ Sanding.

Whether I am designing and building new houses or creating a fresh a new space from an existing structure, working with clients to make tbeir dreams a reality is what I truly love to do. “Where Craftsmanship Matters” isn’t just a motto, it is what drives my creative process and propels me to think outside the box. My true joy comes from a successfully completed project. I consider my clients friends as I work closely with them for the entirety of the project. The other day I received this lovely note from one of my clients. I couldn’t be happier for this family and am grateful for the opportunity to build their dream home for them.
