Every pool finish is a balance of cost, lifespan, texture, and look.

The finish is what gives water its colour — not the sky, not the depth. It's what determines how many years the pool goes before it needs resurfacing, and what the surface feels like underfoot on the steps and the sun shelf. Darker finishes read deep and reflective. Lighter ones read bright and classic. Aggregate and tile last longest; plaster costs less.

When it comes to choosing your finish, there's no single right answer. The right finish is the one that agrees with the house, the landscape, and the way the pool will actually be used — which is exactly what we work through with every client before anything is specified.
