🔨 OWNER SPOTLIGHT | Meet Lyman Gilbert — and Bodhi 🐾

For Lyman Gilbert, building isn’t simply a business—it’s a craft.

A graduate of Emmett O’Brien Regional Vocational Technical School, Lyman has built his career around craftsmanship, problem-solving and taking pride in work done right. Today, he leads LG Building & Remodeling, a third-generation, family-owned business serving homeowners throughout western Connecticut.

And apparently Lyman doesn’t put the tools down when the workday ends. One of his passion projects was restoring a 1968 wooden Lyman Sleeper boat, bringing it back to life piece by piece before returning it to the water on Lake Zoar.

In 2024, Lyman also helped begin a new chapter for John A. Lavorgna & Co., preserving the longtime Connecticut kitchen and bathroom company’s name, craftsmanship and team while bringing it under LG leadership.

But today’s spotlight wouldn’t be complete without Bodhi, who may not carry a tool belt but looks perfectly qualified for quality-control duty. 🐾❤️

Craftsmanship. Family. Community. That’s LG.

A little pink can carry a BIG message. 💗

This pink tractor is more than just something that catches your eye — it’s a reminder of strength, courage, hope, and the importance of supporting one another.

At LG Building & Remodeling, we’re proud to stand with the fighters, survivors, families, and everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

Sometimes awareness comes in unexpected forms — even a bright pink tractor. 🚜💗

Together, we can make a difference.
Support. Awareness. Hope.
